I’ve always believed strongly in sharing books with children. I love books! I love children!
One day while I was at the library with my youngest, he chose a book that looked very intriguing. I didn’t think a whole lot of it at the moment. We checked it out, went home and cuddled on the sofa, and started reading it. I LOVED the book. The illustrations were amazing. I started reading the back cover and saw that it was Barefoot Books. I’d never heard of it, so I went online and did some research. I wanted more books like this! I found out that Barefoot Books was a direct sales company. I sent a couple emails, did some more research, and signed up to become an ambassador. I waited a few days for my starter kit to come. I was so excited! When it arrived, my kids and I dove into it and started reading all the books. They were all brilliantly done.
Combining my 2 loves, children and books, seemed like a no brainer, and becoming a Barefoot Books Ambassador was the perfect solution!!
I seriously fell in love with these books, from the moment I first opened one!!
The artwork is magical! The sustenance is life changing.
I do not plan to use my blog to promote these books often, but I had to share today because it’s a time many are starting to think of gift giving, and we are having an amazing sale.
Today more than ever, children need diverse, inclusive and inspiring books. These books will take you and your child on visits to other countries, open your eyes to the way other cultures live, and inspire you to look a little deeper at the world around you.
From upbeat singalong stories to thought-provoking chapter books, Barefoot Books open windows to cultures around the world and mirrors the experiences of all children.
Books that focus on empathy and celebrating our differences.
We have games and puzzles too!
I want to share them with my children and any children that come into our lives.
Sharing stories with the children we love is one of the best ways to bond with our children, from the time they are very young, even through their teen years.
Reading to children helps them to develop their vocabulary, improves their concentration, and awakens their imagination and creativity.
